+ Experiential
+ Art direction
+ Design
In 2018 and 2019, Marriott had a presence at Coachella. Both years had two components: a footprint at the festival and luxury tents and yurts on the exclusive campgrounds. Each year had a new objectives and challenges for both areas.

Marriott Rewards created an experience for festival goers at Coachella in 2018.
The first part of this activation was the loyalty lounge accessible by festival attendees promoting the Marriott & SPG Rewards programs as well as offering an escape from the heat and intense excitement of Coachella. Guests could cool off, charge phones, refresh make-up and hair and chill with popsicles inspired by the global portfolio of Marriott.
W Hotel yurt for members who wanted the ultimate festival experience.
We designed four yurts to take on the energy of each W Hotel that was hosting an upcoming Wake Up Call music festival: Hollywood, Bali, Barcelona & Dubai. These air-conditioned yurts provided respite from the heat and dust at the festival with a king-sized bed, fully stocked refrigerator, and living area to give the illusion of staying in a W Hotel room. Guests also had private restrooms, concierge and every amenity a person at a music festival could need.
Introducing Marriott Bonvoy in 2019.
Marriott wanted a lounge representing its global presence in a 40'x40' tent. We created a cozy space for guests to escape the heat and explore some Marriott properties. Attendees could savor popsicles in a stylish hotel lobby, have a coffee ground reading in a Moroccan bar, enjoy a massage in a winter chalet, or book a private bungalow in the South Pacific using points, with a butler available. Lucky guests even learned to make vegan peanut butter cookies from Billie Eilish.
